3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine

With a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 under the hood, expect plenty of power to take you far and fast off-road. The F-150 Raptor is engineered to perform beyond expectations with a 10-speed automatic transmission, two-speed all-wheel drive with mechanical locking 4WD, and a TORSEN front differential.

Five-link rear suspension with Panhard strut

Control and confidence are two of the most important factors when driving at high speeds in the desert. Designed and developed specifically for the F-150 Raptor, the F-150 Raptor's five-link spring-based rear suspension, with Panhard strut and smarter programming, provides greater ground control and strength while navigating rough terrain.

Next generation Fox™ shock absorbers with LiveValve™ technology

Monotube dampers, the largest ever on an F-150 Raptor, combined with an advanced electronic and position-sensing adaptive damping system, allow the F-150 Raptor to automatically adapt to changing terrain. No matter how the road changes, the F-150 Raptor will be ready to take it on.

The all-new F-150 Raptor's aggressive stance elevates the Raptor's signature design, combining form and off-road function. Performance equipment package

When driving off-road, you need tires that can handle tough terrain and maintain the same great performance. Therefore, the 37 Ford F-150 Raptor Performance Package comes with BFGoodrich® T/A® KO2 all-terrain tires, the largest factory-equipped tires in their class. These tires give you better approach, departure and crossing angles, as well as ground clearance. These tires look even stronger on unique 17-inch forged aluminum wheels with flange-mounting capabilities. Using a flange mount conversion kit, you can deflate your tires for maximum off-road traction, while maintaining a tight fit with your tire flanges. In addition, there are spare parts installed under the storage area that contain everything you need for an exciting desert trip.

Expert terrain-based driving system

The Ford F-150 Raptor is equipped with a Terrain Drive system with seven modes: Normal, Slippery, Sport, Tow/Haul, Off-Road, Baja and Rock Crawl. Not to mention new features like Trail Control™ and Trail 1-Pedal Drive. Therefore, no matter what dirt, sand or rocks you encounter, you will be fully prepared to confront them and continue driving.

Trail Control™

This system represents a cruise control setting for driving on low-speed tracks, and reduces the pressure caused by constantly adjusting the throttle and braking when driving off-road.

Lane turning assistant

This feature assists the driver by reducing the vehicle's turning radius in low-speed off-road environments that require heavy steering input. This is applied by applying negative torque (braking) to the inside rear wheel of the turning vehicle. Lane Turn Assist increases off-road fun by reducing driver effort required to negotiate difficult off-road terrain.

Trail 1-Pedal Drive

This system allows for very low speed crawling and the ability to stop the vehicle without using the brake pedal. When the driver lifts his foot off the accelerator, the hydraulic torque brake is automatically activated, bringing the vehicle to a stop.
